Pulse crops are very sensitive to temperature and relative humidity. Lack of proper maintenance during harvesting and processing can decrease seed quality. Proper care should be taken during maturity period and pod collection time for pod colour, plant colour, seed colour, seed size and moisture level (%) of pulses seed. For instance, some mungbean varieties mature within 55-60 days and some varieties need more then 60 days. Seeds of different varieties vary in different sizes which can affect during dehulling and processing.
