Farmers are suggested to store wheat seed in airtight containers. Plastic drum, Metollic drum, Polythene bags coverev with gunny bag, etc are the good containers. Before storing, seed should be dried (10-12% moisture) and cleaned. The containers should be completely filled up with seed and then closed tightly. Warm seeds should be cooled down overnight before storing in case of plastic drum polythene bags.
